Our Team

Our team at Midwest Physical Therapy Services (MPTS) is composed of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants (PTA) and technicians. Each member of our team plays a very important role in providing optimal treatment to our patients.

A physical therapist is an educated, licensed health care professional that specializes in restoring/improving patient’s mobility and reduce pain. Physical therapists receive a doctoral level degree and must take a national exam in order to practice. Our physical therapists will design and oversee the treatment plan and goals for each individual patient at MPTS.

A physical therapist assistant must be a graduate of a PTA accredited program and pass an educational specific licensure examination. As a physical therapist assistant they are educated to make assessments and clinical judgments during treatment sessions to ensure the highest quality and safest treatment interventions for patients. Our PTAs will work with patients instructing exercises, providing physical agents to reduce pain, progressing treatment plan and goals under the direction of our physical therapists.
